Patrick Mitrovich is in his first

season of his second stint as the

goalkeeper coach for the soccer

programs.

Mitrovich served as the

goalkeeper coach from 2009-12

following his player career at

Winthrop

He helped the Eagle program to Big South Conference

Championships in 2006 and 2008. The four-year starter

was a three-time All-Big South Conference selection and

was the 2005 Big South Freshman of the Year. In 2008 he

was selected as the top goalkeeper in the South Atlantic

Region. He was an assistant in 2012 when the team

made a school record run to the Round of 32 in the NCAA

Tournament.

The Marietta, GA native finished his Winthrop career

ranked first all-time with a 0.89 goals against average and

finished second in shutouts with 19. In four years, Mitrovich

combined for a 54-16-7 record. The 54 victories in net is a

school record at the NCAA Division I level.

Outside of playing for the Eagles, Mitrovich played

for the Atlanta Silverbacks of the Premier Development

League for three seasons and this past summer played for

Fredericksburg of the PDL. He was also on the 2008 MLS

Draft List.

Mitrovich attended Walton High School in Marietta, GA

where he was an NSCAA/adidas All-American and the

2005 Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year.

Mitrovich received his master’s degree in Business

Administration in 2013 and currently resides in Rock Hill,

SC with his wife Betsy and step-children Zander and

Emery.

Brandon Levine is in his

second season as the Director

of Operations for the men’s soc-

cer program.

Levine graduated from the

University of South Carolina in

December of 2013 with a de-

gree in Sport and Entertainment

Management.

He is no stranger to Winthrop University as he com-

pleted a 10-month internship in facilities and operations

in the school’s athletic department during the 2013-14

calendar year.

Born in Harrisburg, PA, Levine and his family moved

to Rock Hill, SC in 1996 where he graduated from North-

western High School (2007).

For the second consecutive summer, Levine served

as director of operations for FC Carolina Discoveries of

the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) in the team’s

second year of existence.

Levine, who resides in Rock Hill, SC, is the son of

Alan and Donna Levine and has a sister Stefanie.
